Eviction

On May 26, 2026, FAA Labor Relations Specialist Douglas Edwards served AFSCME a June 7, 2026 eviction notice.  Ignoring an existing bargaining proposal and implementing when bargaining had been initiated by the Union, Edwards demands your Union vacate their 2 office spaces which provide working space for the 3 full-time Union officers and consolidate into a single small room which will not accomodate even the Union's files and equipment, much less 3 workspaces used for meetings, negotiating, and representing employees.

President Dan Ronneberg responded to the Agency's demand with the above letter to Administrator Brian Bedford.  He then authorized the creation of the STRIKE (Solidarity Taskforce for Representation, Information, and Contract[K] Enforcement) Committee and will appoint a Chairperson before the General Membership Meeting June 16, 2025.

President Ronneberg also placed an authorization vote for picketing FAA Facilities, DOT HQ, and selected Airports on the General Membership Meeting's agenda to address FAA's union busting and mistreatment of federal employees.
